I had the unexpected pleasure of meeting Jerry Rice, infamous wide receiver from the San Francisco 49ers / Oakland Raiders, while in Chicago at the annual DMA conference in October. It was a "Dancing with the Stars" party but I was just socializing. No, I didn't actually dance with Jerry but my colleagues and I got to see his smooth action front and center. He's a nice guy.
I also met Smokin Joe Fraizer, a legendary boxer, and he was good enough to sign a poster of himself for our 1 year old son. The autographed inscription is "Think Strong Julien." Unfortunately, I didn't have a camera but the poster is framed and ready to go when the time is right.
