The Bullhorn Interview with Adam Bain and Kara Swisher at TWTRCON SF 2010

Thanks to the TWTRCON team ... last week's event in San Francisco was yet another continuous, insightful conversation about all things Twitter for business. I attended for Sitecore and the sessions were highly useful; spanning from the basics to new innovations and trends hitting the street now. I also connected with some creative people including Scott Monty, Mark Yolton, Michael Stelzner, Brian Solis and many more.

Adam Bain, president of global revenue at Twitter, and Kara Swisher, co-executive editor for All Things Digital, had the crowd's attention with their Show Me The Money discussion that covered the pros and cons of traditional display advertising on the Web, and Twitter's new services (promoted tweets, accounts and trends) designed to help advertisers and digital marketers engage with its 150 million users. According to Adam, the top 50 brands in the world are using Twitter advertising products and interest is growing.

What's all the buzz about? Why does Adam believe October 25, 1994 was a significant day in Internet history and how does this influence his thinking today? The 4 minute clip above is from their fast-moving conversation with Adam in the hot seat ... wielding his metaphorical bullhorn. Thanks to Adam and Kara for a fun, informative conversation; a TWTRCON classic.

Finally, check out Kara's Deep Freeze video interview and related in her BoomTown posts. Enjoy and share!
