Organizing a new project team is a powerful experience, especially when you’re free to choose business domain experts without being constrained by organizational silos or internal politics. It is, simply put, a cooperative approach to doing our best work.
The Durable Ownership™ (DO) playbook and campaign team is now formed. We’re ready to storm, norm, and perform over the next 30 to 60 days.
Background
In 2007, I launched the original Creatorbase® blog and social media community with a simple premise: creative business people and technology industry leaders need a digital space to connect, collaborate, and create value for others. Like any entrepreneurial journey, the path has twisted and turned, but today, our mission is clearer than ever.
We are navigating a forced reset driven by the rapid implementation of AI across businesses of all sizes and customer experiences. This shift is redefining roles, functions, and the fundamental structure of the modern workplace. The traditional career ladder is breaking. Where others see disruption, we see infinite opportunities with an idea we call Durable Ownership for people, business priorities, and our sustainable world.
Consumer to Co-creator
What does Durable Ownership mean in practice? It is a deliberate mindset shift: moving from being a passive consumer of content and tasks to becoming an active Co-creator of impact and outcomes. It is a commitment to growing your professional and personal assets with an owner’s mentality. This requires cultivating three core areas, weekly:
• Your reputation for being invaluable and trusted
• Your intellectual capital and well-being (knowledge, health, financial & safeguards)
• Your go-to community of other business domain experts and meaningful relationships

As McKinsey’s State of Organizations 2026 report notes, we have moved beyond simple "short-term resilience" toward a need for "sustained productivity and long-term impact." The companies, teams, and individuals that will thrive are not waiting for external forces to define their paths. They are co-creating them together.
Creators for business playbook
This is why we have a dedicated project team focused on the Durable Ownership Playbook and campaign. This isn't just another ebook and marketing strategy; it is a cooperative project in motion that will set a standard and deliver value in 2026.
We have organized more than a dozen of our Founding 500 members to co-create this asset, the accompanying website enhancements, and campaign. This Co-cre8 project team mirrors a model currently seeing a resurgence across modern enterprises. Research from the International Labour Organization (ILO) emphasizes that the cooperative model is a sustainable, resilient form of organization that can outperform traditional counterparts during downturns by balancing social, cultural, and financial needs.
Our Founding 500 members are doing more than contributing content. They are also growing their own expertise while deepening their connections with peers and other business domain experts. By co-creating this body of work, we are codifying the Co-creators Way: Connect for trust, Learn by doing, Create "Big-C" impact, and Grow where needed.
Call for engagement
The micro-productivity trap, where teams optimize individual tasks without rethinking how value creation gets done in the AI era, is a risk for professionals and stakeholders alike. We are here to do more than just execute tasks. We’re rethinking the operating model for today’s creator for business.
